Attorney StatementI am an experienced family law attorney practicing law in Austin, Texas, as well as surrounding counties in central Texas.
Members of our community seek my legal advice during times that are chaotic, stressful, and at times unbearable. My job is to guide my clients during a time when some of the most difficult life decisions have to be made.
I take that responsibility seriously.
An ethical attorney should never promise a specific result; But there are some things about my practice that you can always count on:
I always help clients make informed decisions. I listen to what you have to say and I come up with ideas and solutions to get you where you want to be. I teach clients to have realistic expectations and advice my clients to make decisions that will yield a well adjusted person and well adjusted families.
Costs are almost always a concern for many clients. I always look for so-lutions and alternatives that may be less costly and that avoid litigation. When litigation is imminent, we work together to put a plan in motion that takes finances into consideration without jeopardizing results.
In the end, I never forget that my clients are going through a major life crisis when dealing with divorce and child custody issues. I work with some of the best professionals in the family arena in the areas of forensic accounting, financial advisors, and mental health professionals to help my clients with the family law process.
If you have a family law matter you wish to discuss with me, I look forward to meeting you. Consults in my office typically last at least an hour, and it will be worth your time. We will have an opportunity to discuss your goals, identify the issues involved, and begin a plan of action that brings you back to harmony.
